My Favourite Gloves For Photography - Vallerret Skadi Zipper Mitt
Being a landscape photographer, a lot of my time is being spent out in the nature. Winter is one of my favourite seasons. The only struggle in the winters is keeping hands warm. From the last couple of years I have tried a lot of gloves. Most of the gloves keep your hands warm but to change your camera settings you have to remove them. In this blog I want to share with you about my favourite gloves, wearing which you can change your camera settings easily.
These are called Skadi Zipper Mitt. They come in two colours black and golden. These gloves look amazing. Skadi zipper are 2 in 1 gloves which let you operate your camera easily.
The inner glove is made of Primaloft Merino wool and the outer shell is mitten. The index finger and thumb on inner glove are touch screen friendly so we do not need to remove the gloves to use camera’s touchscreen. The outer-shell is made of goat leather, laminated soft twill and 2 ply DWR Suede. The outer shell is wind and water resistant.
They come with zip and flip tech which helps you to expose your fingers and thumb easily. FlipTech finger caps fold back and hold with magnets for optimal dexterity. The zipper is made of high quality and is easy to use.
Skadi zipper mitts have non slip coating. They also have zippered pocket on the back of each hand which can be used to put sd cards. The left pocket contains an integrated tripod key.
The gloves have jersey cuff and wrist strap. You can adjust the wrist strap according to the size of your wrist which prevents cold air to go in.
The skadi zipper also comes with storm leash which has great benefits. If you don’t want to wear the outer shell you can just take it off and let it hang around with the writst.
Overall, Skadi Zipper Mitts are great gloves. They are of premium quality. Most the times I only wear the inner gloves.
